The new models are called HZ10W, TL100, SL102 and SL420.
The 10.2 mega-pixel HZ10W (pictured), has a 24mm Schneider lens with 10x optical zoom. It also incorporates both Optical and Digital Image Stabilisation to reduce image blur.
The HZ10W gives users the ability to capture video in 720p high-definition at 30 frames-per-second (fps).
The TL100 is a sleek camera, designed for the design conscious consumer. It boasts 12.2 mega-pixels, 3x optical zoom and a 2.7 inch LCD screen.
The TL100 also features Samsung’s new Smart Auto feature, which automatically selects the most appropriate scene mode for the user.
The Samsung SL102 and SL420 series feature a resolution of 10.2 mega-pixels, offer Face Detection and are powered by rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries.
The SL102 features 3x optical zoom, Digital Image Stabilisation technology, and a 2.5 inch LCD, while the SL420 addresses consumers’ demands for larger LCD screens, longer zooms and better stabilisation.
The SL420 has a 2.7 inch LCD display and 5x optical zoom that allows the user to get a closer shot of their subject from a distance. The SL102 can record MJPEG / VGA video, and the SL420 can record MPEG4 / SVGA video.
