NSW DDP hunts for MS365 Backup as a Service

The NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has released a request for quotation (RFQ) to procure and establish a managed service for the delivery of Microsoft Office 365 Backup as a Service.

The scope of the RFQ includes Exchange Online (mailboxes, calendar items, contacts, archives and full and item-level recovery); SharePoint Online (sites, lists, document libraries and full sites and granular item recovery); OneDrive for Business (files, folders, sharing metadata and user-level and file-level recovery); and Microsoft Teams (chat messages, posts, files, channels and Team-level recovery and file-level restore).

It also includes migration and maintaining historical backups of all of the above.

Project goals include the modernisation of the backup services, costs reduction, managing future growth cost effectively and ensuring historical backups are migrated and maintained.

Initial term of the contract is three years with an option to extend the contract by two years.

The close date of the RFQ is 13 March 2026 at 3:00 PM.
