HP has launched a lineup of new products and services at its annual Amplify Conference, unveiling more than 80 PCs and various AI-powered tools designed to reshape how people work.
The new offerings aim to address the growing disconnect between workers and their jobs.
HP cited research from its 2024 Work Relationship Index that shows only 28 per cent of workers have a healthy relationship with work.
"HP is translating AI into meaningful experiences that drive growth and fulfillment," Enrique Lores, HP's chief executive said.
"We are shaping the future of work with game-changing AI innovations that seamlessly adapt to how people want to work."
With that, the company introduced the redesigned HP EliteBook 8 Series, featuring AI-powered productivity tools and neural processing unit options providing up to 50 TOPS of processing power.
HP claims these devices deliver significant performance gains compared to previous non-NPU models.
For desktop users, HP unveiled the EliteDesk 8 Series, which the company describes as one of the first business desktop PC portfolios designed to protect against quantum computer hacks.
The company also introduced the EliteStudio 8 AiO G1i, HP's first commercial PC with integrated KVM ability through HP Device Switch.
For consumer and creative users, HP launched the OmniBook X Series, offering options ranging from a 14-inch flip device to a powerful 17.3-inch clamshell PC.
Meanwhile, the OmniBook 7 Series targets power users, while the OmniBook 5 Series is designed for families and students.
On the software front, HP announced new features for HP AI Companion, including intuitive voice and text commands and built-in keylogger protections.
The company also plans to deliver HP Go, a service providing seamless global connectivity for mobile professionals, starting with the HP EliteBook 6 G1q powered by Snapdragon X Series.
HP's printing updates include two new AI-powered tools for small businesses.
The first streamlines document sharing by using AI to summarise scanned documents and draft emails with attachments.
The second one offers automatic redaction to protect sensitive information without requiring cloud connections.
The company also unveiled the HP LaserJet Enterprise 8000 Series Printers, which HP claims are their first printers that protect against quantum computer attacks, and the HP Latex R530 Printer, described as one of the first compact all-in-one HP Latex printers capable of handling both rigid and flexible media.
Business are preparing for Windows 11 upgrades this year, with HP positioning its new devices to take advantage of the latest technologies, including Copilot+ AI PC capabilities on select models.
