It is looking for three value added distributors in WA, SA and Qld and one in New Zealand.
According to Michael Bosnar, sales director, MailGuard, the company wants to give its partners better representation in regions ‘where we do not have a local MailGuard presence and a focus in each of these regional locations’.
He is specifically looking for niche distributors that are currently selling SaaS solutions, or thinking of doing so and they need to have a strong local presence in the channel, or ones that have hosting capabilities.
It wants reseller partners focused in the SMB space that have an MSP (managed services) offering and smaller ISP partners that can package email, spam and web filtering within their offerings.
MailGuard will support new distributors through its Partner Program with benefits for regional VADs including marketing, enablement, partner leads, and double digit margin for the distributor and the partner.
Bosnar said there is a monthly revenue annuity stream or the option of an upfront commission, but MailGuard will be flexible dependent on the partner’s preferences.
“MailGuard have put together a simple and consistent partner program that can provide its partners with a predictable engagement model,” said Bosnar.
“MailGuard has grown successfully because it has focused on delivering an exceptional software service business, and is now placing its emphasis on its partners and customers to obtain the next levels of growth in the business, while continuing to develop its services offerings,” he added.
Bosnar claims the compay’s SaaS solutions provide partners with a managed services offering that provide them with , higher margin, revenue annuity, increased customer touch and increase services revenue, not available through hardware or software sales.
