HPE's Julie Barbieri to retire next week

Julie Barbieri, HPE's GM for channel - South Pacific, will retire on December 12, concluding a 40-year career in the IT industry and five years of leadership at HPE.  

She joined HPE from NTT, where her most recent role was GM of technology solutions.

Prior to this, she worked at Frontline Systems for over a decade.

"During her tenure, Barbieri played a pivotal role in driving business growth, strengthening HPE's partner ecosystem and launching transformative programs that deepened trust across the channel community," the company said.

"Her leadership has been instrumental in elevating partner engagement, expanding route to market, and delivering consistent value across the region. Her legacy is reflected in HPE's robust market position and enduring partnerships." 

HPE has stated that it is in the final stages of confirming Barbieri's successor.
