Resellers can learn more about the offering at Fujitsu and Westcon Group's Coffee Talk Series on 21st April in Sydney and 22nd April in Melbourne.
Julian Badell, sales manager Fujitsu products said Modernising IT is a unique offering suitable for SMEs looking to upgrade the way they manage IT.
"This allows resellers to take their customers to a completely new manageable and scalable infrastructure, simply," he said.
"By partnering with us they are able to position a tested and certified solution that customers can count on. Resellers will also have exclusivity in most deals."
Fujitsu recently launched a range of servers based on the Intel Xeon 5500 (Nehalem).
Badell said it is the company's first global product since the acquisition of Fujitsu-Siemens was completed on April 1.
"The new range is our most exciting yet and will be at the forefront of our market growth this year," he said.
"Although many customer's markets may be shrinking (in the economic climate), there will be those that benefit, if not thrive in the downturn.
"These customers will look around for value and relationships they can trust to help them grow. We feel we can deliver this.
"My objective is to grow Fujitsu PRIMERGY server business through the channel. It's challenging and exciting."
Badell has been the channel manager A/NZ for Fujitsu Products for one year. Prior to this, he was enterprise channel manager at HP.
Fujitsu has two distributors for PRIMERGY servers, Multimedia Technology and Westcon Group.
The company went into partnership with Westcon earlier this year.
"We signed them up because Westcon Group has a strong capability in the mid market supported by their success with EMC," said Badell.
"We also both saw a mutual benefit in putting our servers, VMWare and EMC storage together.
"They distribute our entire range of PRIMERGY servers. They also are able to exclusively provide Fujitsu/EMC solutions targeted at mid-tier customers looking to Modernise IT."
Fujitsu has two channel managers. Phillip Lay in Melbourne covering the southern region and Paula Rogers in Sydney covering the northern region.
They are currently looking for resellers focusing on Tier 2 partners selling into SMB and SME accounts.
"They (Lay and Rogers) work closely with our distribution partners to spread the word about our products. They are also able to support the sales and pre-sales engagement," said Badell.
"We have a loyal base of indirect resellers but we are currently recruiting and looking to grow our base significantly," he added.
