Crayon releases next generation of Cloud-iQ platform

Crayon has released the next generation of its Cloud-iQ platform.

Cloud-iQ intends to help organisations buy, manage and optimise cloud services from providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, and Adobe.

The platform’s new features include an enhanced billing engine, touting more accurate invoices and multi-currency support, along with advanced automation that aims to simplify subscription management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The new platform is also engineered to integrate with the new Microsoft Marketplace.

Larrie Clark, the CTO of SoftwareOne (which recently combined with Crayon) said that the company built Cloud-iQ with customers and partner needs at its core.

“We knew that, for example, forecasting and spend prediction were key for them, and embedded our cost optimisation DNA into it through a predictive cost optimisation and real-time usage intelligence section under insights," he said.

With the next-generation platform becoming the default today, existing users will transition to the new experience. All current capabilities remain available, with no increase in total cost of ownership.

Crayon launched the Asia-Pacific rollout of its Cloud-iQ platform in June.
