Security vendor CA has signed a distribution agreement with distributor Atari in Australia and New Zealand, strengthening CA’s retail presence.
Effective as of 1st June, Patrina Kerr, director, home and small office CA said, the agreement with Atari is part of CA’s overall growth strategy in Australia and New Zealand.
“Atari has retail focused distribution in the region, and its value added services such as its field force team, and channel management expertise, will be invaluable as CA continues to grow its market share in A/NZ.
Under the terms of the agreement, Atari will serve as an authorised CA distributor, focusing on the immediate delivery of CA’s entire home and small office product range into the large national retailers including: CA Internet Security Suite, CA Anti-Virus, CA Anti-Spyware, and CA Desktop DNA Migrator.
Atari will be CA’s third distributor in the ANZ region, with Saratoga and Ingram Micro focusing on SMBs and OEMs. Ingram Micro will also work with smaller retailers.
Gerard Noonan managing director at Atari Asia Pacific said, “By adding CA’s Home and Small Office products to our portfolio, we can broaden our distribution business outside of gaming, while capitalising on CA’s booming growth.”
