Why hasn't anyone in the media given Apple a serious serve about the utterly closed nature of this thing? Rabid will soon start selling electronic ankle bracelets that require a monthly payment to prevent a 50,000 volt shock. Based on the take-up of the iPhone this must surely be a winning idea. Lock 'em in and make 'em pay.
