What’s the world coming to when distributors have to run their own trade shows? We haven’t seen this sort of behaviour since ExpressData (once was ComTech) stopped hauling 737s full of kit up to the Sunshine Coast every year.
Now Ingram Micro has had to step up the plate that should have been filled by the SomethingOrOtherWorld Computer Show and Exhibition.
That was back when event organisers knew how to organise an event.
We blame project management software for this malaise.
Event organisers are so busy trying to work out exactly what their software has organised for them that the event has usually expired before it has eventuated. Anyway, don’t know about you but Rabid always enjoys a good gallop around the toy shop, no matter who’s organised the thing.
Hats off to Ingram Micro for giving resellers a chance to get up close and personal with some kit they’ve only seen in catalogues until now.
Nice to see CipherTrust doing the public-spirited thing and setting up a database of phishing conquests.
Rabid has long wondered why we don’t get our own industry awards for the best catch and we suspect it’s because we spell the name of our hobby phunny. Now that this service has started you’ll get automatic notification when anyone beats your phishing record.
Gotta go! Customers waiting!
