Tony Walls, CEO, Objective Corporation said the ASX-listed vendor was chosen as the Document Management Solution (DMS) because of its functional fit with FKP’s business requirements and compliance with ISO standards.
“This project is an example of Objective’s suitability to a wide range of business problems and yet more evidence that Enterprise Content Management is on the radar for modern commercial organisations, he said.
According to Laurie Martyn, business systems project leader, IT & Telco manager at FKP Property Group, the business case for implementing a DMS in FKP has identified over $1 million in tangible benefits and avoided costs.
“By leveraging Objective’s automated version control and other management and collaboration facilities we intend to deploy a single, easy to use system for the management of electronic information,” said Martyn.
Objective Corporation’s latest implementation deal follows its win with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) New Zealand.
The deal was announced on 22 January 2008. Under that agreement Objective will support all work conducted by the OPC in both their Wellington and Auckland locations.
Neither companies would disclose to CRN the monetary value of the contract, or the other competitors for the FKP project.
