Asus has unveiled a new Transformer Book at Computex that features five devices in one.
The company's CEO and president Jonney Shih has described the product as the "perfect device for multitaskers", and it certainly does cover all the bases.
The Transformer Book V is a Windows 8.1 laptop/tablet hybrid, which turns into an Android 4.4 KitKat device when a 5in Android smartphone is docked in the back.
Breaking the specs down, as a laptop it features a full Qwerty keyboard and touchpad, 12.5in HD IPS display, touchscreen support, an Intel Core processor and up to 1TB of internal storage.
It also features a dedicated button that lets it switch between Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 KitKat, providing the smartphone is docked.
Un-docking it from the keyboard turns it into an 800g tablet with 128GB of storage. Once again, users can move between the two operating systems, although this time it's via a tap on the screen.
The 5in, 140g phone, which is only 11mm thick, also runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is, according to Asus, the first 4G smartphone to be powered by an Intel Atom quad-core processor.
It also comes with a 2,500mAh battery that provides up to ten hours of web browsing time.
There is no word yet on when the device will be available outside of Taiwan or how much it will cost.
Transformer Book Chi
The company also debuted some more conventional products at Computex.
The Transformer Book T300 Chi is another laptop/tablet hybrid device, which the company claimed has the "world's thinnest 12.5in detachable tablet display" at 7.3mm thick.
In terms of resolution, the tablet features a 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD IPS screen.
As with the Transformer Book V, there is no word yet on pricing or availability.
Transformer Book Flip
The Transformer Book Flip is Asus' answer to the Lenovo Yoga. Running Windows 8.1, users can position the laptop's screen at any angle from zero and 360 degrees, the company claimed. However, in order to avoid unwanted input, the keyboard and touchpad are locked when the device is in tablet mode, it added.
The Transformer Book Flip comes in two screen sizes - 13.3in and 15.6in. Both models have two processor options, Core i3 and Core i5 for the 13.3in, and Core i5 and Core i7 for the 15.6in. The devices also feature up to Full HD 1920 x 1080 touchscreen displays.

It has a 5.06mm bezel and HD 1,280 x 800 IPS display. It runs on a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 1.8GHz quad-core processor and has dual SonicMaster front speakers.
The company claimed that with a 72.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, it has the largest viewing area of any 8in tablet on the market.
The company also showed off the MeMO Pad 7, a 7in, 64-bit Android tablet. Designed primarily to provide entertainment, it supports Miracast technology, which lets it stream HD video to compatible displays. As with the Fonepad 8, it features SonicMaster speakers.
It also has a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, both with PixelMaster technology.
It's powered by a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor.
